Dreams Into Reality

A lot of the books I’ve read on weight loss (or any self-motivation) have suggested writing down the things you want to do when you achieve your goals. I’d figure I’d give it a try. Some might seem stupid, but when you are as heavy as I am, you spend a lot of time wishing you didn’t have to try and literally “fit” into a world that isn’t in your size. This is basically for me, but it might inspire you to make changes in your life to reach goals of your own, whatever they may be. If you have a fun goal or treat you think would be a fun thing to add, let me know! I’ll probably even document my rewards with a fun video!

In no particular order…

  1. Do a Color Run.
  2. Ride a bike again (DONE!!!)
  3. Use a seat belt (boobs and belly do not an airbag make)  (DONE!!!)
  4. Sing in public, without getting winded (DONE!!!)
  5. Learn hula dancing
  6. Go horseback riding
  7. Hike the Falls Trail at Ricketts Glen State Park (DONE!!!)
  8. Travel, and fit into ONE plane seat without a seatbelt extender (DONE!!!)
  9. Learn bellydancing
  10. Walk into any hippie store/head shop and be able to wear those gorgeous clothes
  11. Jump out of a perfectly good airplane
  12. Walk at least part of the Appalachian Trail

  1. Ohhhhh…these goals are EPIC! If you ever need a roller-coaster buddy, I’m yours! Seriously, though…you’re so strong, so capable, and I’m blown away by all your self-awareness. I’ve dealt with my weight all my life, and really delving into the deep feelings of why I ate so much and made such poor choices helps so much. I’m 1,000% behind you, beautiful woman. ❤

  2. You are ON girl! I love roller coasters. I’ve never been to Cedar Point, that’s a big one I’m going to hit when I can fit in the seats.
